Adoption Reservation Process
* Available kittens are posted with a reservation number and
description at 8-10 weeks of age onto our facebook page & Website.
* Not every kitten will be available for reservation
(we sometimes keep kittens to continue our breeding program.
* Kitten application fees, waitlist fees, & Reservation fees are non-refundable.
All fees go towards the total cost of your kitten.
* We reserve the right to refuse the sale of a kitten at any time! We want the best for our kittens!
Step 1: Fill out an application
Fill out an application and submit / email to NakedCitySphynx@yahoo.com.

Once your application is approved, your 1st payment is due. This is called your application/waitlist fee. The application/waitlist fee is $100.00 USD.

Step 2: Reservation (8-10 weeks of age)
We will contact you in order of our waitlist via text/email to reserve from available kittens.
​
You'll have 1 hour to respond (Respond (yes) for a kitten or (wait) to continue to wait) before we go to the next person. If we do NOT receive a response within 24 hours, you will be removed from our waitlist and will need to reapply. (If you have responded you can remain on our waitlist for as long as you wish).
​
If you choose a kitten at this time, the 2nd payment reservation fee of $900.00 USD is due within 24 hours. (Venmo, Zelle, or Cash)

When we receive your reservation fee, we will mark your kitten reserved. If we do not receive your reservation fee within 24 hours the kitten will be available to the next person.
​
We do have payment plans available. Please contact us directly when you have applied and have been approved.
​
** If you are financing through TerracePets:
You are liable for any fees the lender removes from the financed amount. The fee amount will be determined when the lender sends over the final paperwork to NCS. (fee amounts are $0-$600).
** These fees will be due at pickup in cash.
Step 3: Sign & Mail Kitten Contract
After you pay your 8-10 week kitten reservation fee you will need to fill out and mail your kitten's contract to NakedCitySphynx. Make sure that you have fully read and understand your kitten contract. Do not forget to initial and sign every signature line (Double check).

We must receive your kitten's contract by 14 weeks of age. If we do not receive your contract by this time you will forfeit all fees paid to date, your kitten will become available to the next person, and you'll need to reapply. (no exceptions).
​
Begin purchasing your kitten's food and necessities at this time! Food and other items may be on back order or out of stock! Get a head start on being prepared for your kitten! View our "Sphynx Needs" tab to see our recommended products.

Step 4: Schedule Kitten Pickup (14 weeks of age)
We will contact you via text to schedule a pickup date and time.

We must receive your kitten's contract by this time.
​
Contact your vet and schedule your kitten's first appointment (kittens must be seen within 72 hours of pickup!)
​
Make sure to have purchased all of your kitten's necessities by this time! A list of necessities & links to various items we use in our cattery are located under "Sphynx needs".
Step 5: Pick up your kitten (14-16 weeks of age)
You will pickup your kitten from NakedCitySphynx Cattery at your scheduled time.
​
Pick up location is: 1154 Ogontz Avenue, Maumee, OH 43537.
​
* If you are choosing to fly, we will meet you at DTW - Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport located in Romulus, Michigan at the "Arrivals" entrance.
​
What to expect at pickup:
It will take 15-20 minutes to go over "Important Go Home information" and for you to ask any questions.
Your 3rd and final payment is due in CASH!

You will receive a go home bag with goodies to get you started.
Please bring a carrier for your baby and a plush blanket to make their trip home more comfortable.
You will have your picture taken with your kitten.
*We are here for the lifetime of your NakedCitySphynx kitten!

**DBE & ODE kitten's will be approx 16-20 weeks for go home.
